Long term Advisors
Eveyone seems to know Mr. Jacobs from T. Benton Gayle Middle School.
Mr. Godwin, our host at Mountain View High makes sure the food ladies have everything they need.
It seems every school has one, well our region has one too. Mr. Thompson from Liberty High is a man to meet!
I know I have not listed all of the advisors attending the Northern TSA Regional contests, but with over 200 Tech Ed teachers in Prince William County alone, we have much room to grow. Students need to keep the pressure on the adults to keep orviding these opportunities. Awards can be won for starting new chapters. Don't believe me, look it up.
The Advisors

I meet John Rust and liked him on the spot. He teaches at Riverbend High.

Mr. Freeman is from Riverbend High and has been an advisor for years.

This motley crew has Mr. Potts- Liberty High, Mr. Spain-Stone Bridge High , Mr. Mullins- Fauquier High, Mike Piccione, Battlefield Migh. They are all excellent drafting teachers and make up the glue that holds our region together in judging and bringing kids year after year to these events.

Mr. Newman, Liberty High, is a surperb graphics instructor.

D.C. Chapter Visits

We were very fornuate to have the District of Columbia TSA kids come visit the contests in hope they will be able to come back next year to compete with us.

Sheldon Wilson, DCTSA Citywide Coordinator with one of his brighter chapter members. Please come back! Make sure to make the competition legal with state TSA first.
The Presidents
Heather Hennebury, Colonial Forge High then Mountain View High as your Northern Region President for 2005-2006 gives an appeal for your next TSA State President.
Joe Vickers, Rappahannock County Middle to be High School next fall speaks for his bid to be the 2006-2007 Northern Region President which he won by aclamination as no others ran for the office.
Important Folks at Mountain View
Mr. Todd Welker teaches at the school and helps Mr. Godwin.
Dr. Brenda Long was the keynote speaker. She is the CTE Director of Stafford County and welcomed students to the brand new school. Mr. Godwin is behind her and is one of only a few photos taken of him. He moved around to fast.
The Northern Region Officer team. I noticed the absence of Tyler and Joe. Somehow Heather dismissed my kids to recruit her own team this day. She has the red hair in the center. I'll include lots of photos of events that'll have more than just Rappahannock kids included.
Rappahannock MiddleSchool Goes to Regionals Contests.
This year Mountian View High School hosted our regional conferences on March 11, 2006. All six regions were to have the contests the same day. Mr. Terry Godwin has already agreed to host he event for the next five years! This puts the Northern Region in the lead of all the others for future planning. Bud Jacobs will also again host the Fall Rally at his school.
The kids pictured here include Tyler and Joe with Brittani and Tiffany (7th graders) representing RCMS. Their advisor is me but Mrs. Vickers is learning as co-advisor and will take over next year I hope.
